We, the engineers in the Scarborough Chapter of Professional Engineers of Ontario are organizing a mathematics competition called Mathletics 2009. The event is scheduled for Sunday, 15 Novemberl 2009 Centennial College,Lobby of 1st floor,755 Morningside Campus.
Mathletics is an enrichment competition designed to challenge students in the application of mathematics in everyday science and engineering principles. The questions are designed to show the significance of mathematics in science and engineering. Questions are designed to test analytical and problem solving skills under time constraints.

There will be two events, a senior level (grade 8 and below) and a junior level (grade 6 and below). Both events are individual events. Registration will be on first come served basis. We will allow the first 100 students to register in each level before starting a waiting list. To avoid disappointment, please register your students early. Registrations will be accepted until 1 November, 2009.
